Message from the Principal’s Office
Hi everyone,
Welcome to our newsletter for week 8, it has been another busy fortnight as we head towards the end of term 2.
Dental Visit
This week, our New Holland Drive campus was delighted to host Smiles Dentacare, providing our students with the invaluable opportunity for dental check-ups and treatments. The health and well-being of our students are always a top priority, and initiatives like this play a crucial role in supporting our community.
Student Photos
We had our annual student photo days this week, and it was a great success! Our students looked their best, and the photographers did a fantastic job capturing the smiles and personalities of our students. These photos will be cherished memories for years to come, and we appreciate the efforts of everyone involved in making this day special.
First Whole School Assembly in the New Gym
Today, we held our first whole school assembly all together in our new gymnasium. It was a wonderful experience to have the entire school community come together to celebrate our students' achievements. The new gym provided a spacious and welcoming environment for this important event, and we look forward to hosting many more assemblies and activities there in the future.
School Reviewer Visit
Next week, our school reviewer will be presenting to staff and discussing the findings from their evaluation. This important visit will inform our school goals for the next four years, ensuring that we continue to strive for excellence in all areas. We are committed to continuous improvement and value the insights that the review process brings.
Long Weekend Reminder
A reminder that this weekend is a long weekend in celebration of the King's Birthday. There will be no school on Monday, so please enjoy the extra day off with your family. We look forward to seeing everyone back at school on Tuesday, refreshed and ready for another great week.

News from 1A
We are excited to share a delightful experience from our classroom this term. On every Tuesday afternoon, our students had the wonderful opportunity to participate in food-making sessions with our Occupational Therapist, Anj. From these sessions, the children learn and practise valuable life skills and fine motor skills. Students are super engaged and enjoy eating the food that they make.
Additionally, our children are busy practising their handwriting in the classroom. The children are using tracing sheets to guide handwriting, gradually moving from tracing to writing independently. The step-by-step approach reinforces correct letter shapes and sizes.
