Bus Transport
Students are entitled to bus transport assistance if:
their permanent residential address is within Marnebek’s designated transport area (DTA)
they live more than 4.8 kilometres from Marnebek School.
are enrolled for 3 or more days per week.
Eligible families have the option of using this free bus service to transport their child to and from Marnebek School. The bus picks and drops off each student at a pre-determined time each day.

Change of address:
If a student changes their residential address, a new application must be made to the school and assessed against all criteria.
Students requiring a booster seat for travel on the bus:
Students between 5-7 years of age or under 145cm tall, now require an unanchored booster seat to travel on the Westernport School bus transport.
The InfaSecure booster seats are fully compliant with Australian standards and utilise existing vehicle lap sash belts.
These can be purchased at Big W, Kmart or Target and cost approximately $49.00.
· At Kmart it is called an InfaSecure Foldaway booster seat.
· At Target it is called a InfaSecure Freedom booster seat
· At Big W it is called a InfaSecure Traveller booster seat.
