I am thrilled and honoured to be appointed as the Principal of Marnebek in Term 4 and I look forward to continuing the amazing work that has been done in supporting our staff and the wider community. Having worked as the Assistant Principal at Marnebek for the past five years, I have had the unique opportunity to build strong relationships with our students, families, and staff, and gain an in-depth understanding of the school’s goals. I am excited to continue driving improvement and working toward better outcomes for all our students.

It has been wonderful to see our students actively engaged in their learning this year, from our youngest Preps to our graduating senior students. They have participated not only in classroom work focused on core learning areas such as English, Mathematics, and Personal and Social Capabilities but also in our specialist areas, including Music, Art, PE, Performing Arts, and Food Technology. We are fortunate to have such talented and dedicated teachers who deliver high-quality programs that support and challenge our students to reach their full potential.

This year has also been filled with exciting extracurricular opportunities, including excursions, incursions, and camps. One of the highlights for me has been the introduction of the therapy dogs. It has been heartwarming to see the joy and excitement on students' faces as they spend time socializing and interacting with the dogs. These moments of connection have had such a positive impact on our school community.
