As the year draws to a close, it’s a pleasure to reflect on the many achievements and memorable moments we’ve shared as a Secondary School.
This year has been filled with growth, learning, and celebration, and I’m incredibly proud of what we have accomplished together.
One of the standout events was our Street Stalls Day, which showcased the creativity and entrepreneurial spirit of our students. It was wonderful to see our community come together in support of this initiative.
Our school camps provided students with opportunities to step out of their comfort zones, build resilience, and strengthen connections with their peers and teachers. These experiences are invaluable in shaping the confidence and character of our young people.
In sport, our teams shone brightly, with outstanding performances in Football, Netball, Hockey, and Soccer earning us the title of interschool sport champions. These achievements reflect not only the talent of our students but also their commitment and teamwork.
This year, our calendar was packed with vibrant events and programs that enriched the school experience for our amazing students. Highlights included the secondary school disco, a thrilling day at Urban Surf, and the METEC Learn to Drive program for our Year 12 students, equipping them with practical life skills as they prepare for their next chapter.
We also ran exceptional programs such as the Therapy Dogs initiative and the Allied Health Food Explorers group, which contributed to the wellbeing and development of our students in meaningful ways.
Our student leaders were exemplary ambassadors for the school, representing us with pride and distinction at various events throughout the year. Their dedication and maturity have been truly inspiring
Finally, I want to express my deepest gratitude to the entire secondary school staff. I feel incredibly fortunate to work alongside such a talented and dedicated group of professionals.
Their unwavering commitment to our students and their tireless efforts to deliver engaging, high-quality education make our school the thriving community it is today.
As we look forward to another exciting year, I thank our students, staff, and families for their ongoing support. Together, we continue to build a school that fosters excellence, kindness, and opportunity for all.
