Message from the Principal
Dear Parents and Carers,
Welcome to the final edition of our newsletter for term 1.
It has been a very exciting and action-packed first term at Marnebek School. It was fantastic to see our senior students returning to Corrigan’s Rd campus and into the amazing new learning building. It has been a pleasure visiting the new learning spaces and seeing so many students engaged in their learning. Students are enjoying the break out spaces, connected classrooms, a dedicated music room and café facilities to reintroduce hospitality skills.
I would like to acknowledge and thank our hard-working staff and students during the term whilst we shifted and recalibrated into Corrigan’s Road, they have shown the true meaning of our school values especially resilience as they maintained a focus on learning whilst recalibrating to a new learning environment.
We’re looking forward to our students based at Cranbourne Primary to also return to New Holland Drive campus for term 2. Further details will be provided to students and families regarding when and how this shift will occur, I know the staff and students currently located at Cranbourne PS will also highlight our school values whilst this move occurs.
The remainder of the school year will see the final stage of our Capital Works taking place at new Holland Dve, the current multipurpose room will be redesigned as our Food Tech, STEM, Music and ART facility, the current BER building will be redesigned as Therapy space and Multi Purpose hall alongside a new basketball court.
These state of the art facilities will enable our students to achieve their best everyday at Marnebek School, Thank you to our parent community for your flexibility and understanding whilst we continue our capital works program.
Happy Easter celebrations to all and enjoy a relaxing school holiday break.
Kind regards,
Jennifer Hamilton | Executive Principal
