New Holland Drive Campus
The Department of Health (DH) has cleared our school site to reopen from Wednesday 13 October.
Our school will operate as per the Victorian Chief Health Officer’s advice for Term 4.
This means our school will continue to learn remotely in line with the current advice from the Victorian Chief Health Officer. However staff and eligible students, except those identified by DH as primary close contacts who are in quarantine, can now also return to school for onsite supervision from Wednesday, 13 October, which includes students experiencing vulnerability, and children of authorised workers (as previously communicated).
The school has undergone a clean in preparation for eligible students and staff returning onsite, except for those identified by DH as primary close contacts who are in quarantine.
For any students in quarantine, if you have been tested for COVID-19 on or after Day 13 of your quarantine period and receive a negative result, you can stop quarantining immediately. You will not be contacted by the Department. Your negative test result can act as proof that you have completed your quarantine period.
For any Tier 2 contacts you will need to get tested for COVID-19 and isolate until a you receive a negative test.
Like all Victorian Government schools, our school has a COVIDSafe plan, which includes extra cleaning and record-keeping of all staff, students and visitors who attend on-site. Checking in with QR codes is mandatory for any visitors to schools including parents who come into school buildings and indoor facilities (but not staff or students).
Student drop-offs, pick-ups and bus routes will run as normal.
Staff, students and visitors to schools are reminded to stay up to date with current face mask advice. Further information can be found at www.coronavirus.vic.gov.au/face-masks-in-schools.
